Gingersnap is a luminous waterlily form dahlia, opening in soft, rounded layers that glow from the center outward.  Petals unfold in warm tones of golden yellow and honeyed apricot, with a gentle translucence that gives each bloom a sunlit, almost porcelain quality.  There's a cheerful warmth here-polished and inviting-balanced by the refined simplicity of its waterlily form.
